Informative and you will get to know more details on how Wright brothers made their first fly! By the way, go there in the evening and you will enjoy the scenic walk. We spotted ????

Stand at the spot of the Wrights' first 4 flights, which took place Dec. 17, 1903. The first flight was just 40 yards and took 12 seconds, a time easily beat by a child or adult's easy jog. Try it!

Start at the visitor center and pavilion to get the context, then walk the monument and historic flight area. Very inspirational for adults and children alike.

When training for a marathon, ran around this memorial a dozen times. Cool sight, and they don't even look at you funny for running.

Long walk from the monument to the visitors building, but it was worth it. Try to make it to the Rangers Talk. Ranger Chelsy is a very dramatic speaker!!

The grounds (but not buildings) are dog friendly, but bring water for your best friend for the long walk to the monument at the top of the hill!
