One of the world's most famous geysers is Strokkur, which erupts every 10 minutes cascading hot water 20 metres up in the air. Definitely a must see if you are in Iceland

Strokkur (churn’ in Icelandic) is the most active geyser in this geothermal area & erupts every 5-10 minutes. It’s exciting each time! Don’t miss this natural wonder while touring the Golden Circle.

Strokkur and its surrounding areas regularly attracts tourists to view the geyser, as it is one of very few natural geysers to erupt frequently and reliably.

The biggest Geysir in the area. Water explosion is every 2 minutes so prepare your camera to take a nice picture.

Strokkur erupts based on my observations each 5 minutes. If there are 2 small ones, next one will be really huge :-). Be prepared, it goes really fast!

Frequent eruptions-every 4 to 7 minutes so if you're patient you can see a few in just a short visit.
